Manicures or Nail Enhancements should be a relaxing and painless procedure and not rushed.
We no longer cut cuticles (skin around the nail). There is no need for this. In fact cutting the cuticles only causes them to grow back thicker. Using cuticle oil keeps them in good condition and nourishes them.
You are able to relax and enjoy the service.
Observe steps of cleanliness, hands should always be washed and a sanitizing gel or spray should be used before any treatment.
I also complete a Consultation Form which gives me information about the client and the services provided, along with the condition of the clients nails etc. For instance occupation, age (or approximate, if you do not wish to divulge this), contact details, medication being taken, allergies etc. All of this is important to a good technician as it can affect the service provided. Some medication can affect your nail growth and the enhancements, so your technician needs to know beforehand if you are on antibiotics etc.
